Kate Hudson Says She Wants To Work With Her Mom

Mothers with daughters everywhere, rejoice.  Mothers with teenage daughters, take heart.

Kate Hudson says she would love to star in a movie with her mom, actress Goldie Hawn.

“Mom and I would like to do something together,” Kate says.

But don’t get your hopes up for a Hudson/Hawn Blockbuster just yet.  Kate admits that her mom has a lot of non-movie related things in her life right now that are keeping Goldie happy.

“If the right thing came along maybe, I don’t think she’d be closed to it,” Hudson admits.  “We have an idea that we would like to sort of pursue, although it’s very early and we don’t know if that will ever really happen or come to fruition if it’s the right thing.  But we definitely want to have that together at some point.”

Will they, or won’t they?

Honestly, I don’t even care.  As much as I would love to see this mother-daughter duo on the big screen, my heart is happily warmed just by knowing that she wants to work with her mom.
