Victoria Beckham Gives David Beckham Pigs

What do you get the world famous, super rich dad who has everything?

Pigs, apparently.

Victoria Beckham has gotten her husband David two pigs for Christmas this year.  I guess technically they are micro-pigs, which makes them much more posh than regular pigs.

Micro-pigs are reportedly very clean and easy to house train.  They will be living with the family inside the Beckingham Palace mansion in Hertfordshire and expected to have the run of the house the same as any other domesticated pet would.

Victoria has named the mini pigs Elton and David, after friends Elton John and his partner David Furnish.  I think that’s a compliment.  However, David (the Beckham, not the pig) is said to be calling them Pinky and Perky.  I can’t say as I blame him for the rename, seeing as how his name is David and all.

The micro-pigs cost Victoria £1,400, which works out to over $2,000.  While I admit that seems like a lot to pay for pig pets, it seems pretty mild for a David Beckham Christmas present.
