Sean Penn’s Son Totally Off The Hook!

Not only did the school and the cops overreact to the news that Sean Penn’s 16-year-old son being arrested, but so did the whole blogosphere (and yes, that does include us). It’s being reported that the narcotics that Hopper was caught with were …actually prescription drugs –prescription drugs that were in his named and issued by an actual doctor.

The apparent mix-up got so far that there had to be an investigation with the police and the school involved and then it was finally ruled by the District Attorney that no charges were needed…yeah, wouldn’t think so! Doh! And no, there is no word on what substance he was prescribed. Your guess is as good as mine.
