Patrick Dempsey Joins The Hangover Crew
Family man and Grey’s Anatomy heart throb, Patrick Dempsey, is headed back to the big screen.
Patrick Dempsey has signed on to work with the screenwriters of The Hangover in a new romantic comedy. The new movie remains untitled, but it sounds like Dempsey will be playing a guy who is unlucky in life and in love.
The premise of the movie is that Dempsey’s character is about to ask out a bank teller whom he is secretly in love with when the bank becomes the center of two bank robberies. Patrick, of course, is then fighting to protect his secret crush.
Before you scoff that Patrick Dempsey could never be believable as unlucky in anything, remember 1987’s Can’t Buy Me Love. I totally bought Patrick as a nerdy lawn boy who needed a little cleaning up. Granted, that was long before his days as Grey’s McDreamy and a Versace model.
Believable or not, I welcome any chance to see more of Patrick Dempsey (as long as it doesn’t interfere with Grey’s).
