Angelina Jolie Has A New Leading Man
While Brad Pitt is still the father of her six children and her… what’s the word? Husband? Boyfriend? Leading man at home? Whatever. Angelina Jolie is set to appear onscreen with someone just as easy on the eyes as Brad.
Johnny Depp is in talks to co-star with Angelina in an upcoming remake of The Tourist. Depp is reportedly replacing Sam Worthington, who pulled out of the project.
The movie centers around a female Interpol agent who uses an American tourist visiting France as bait for a wanted criminal. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Jolie plays the spy and Depp will play the title role of the tourist.
Oddly enough, it seems both stars of The Tourist will be replacements. Angelina Jolie is filling in for Charlize Theron, the first actress pegged for the lead.
Ladies and gentleman, we now live in a world where Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are consolation prizes. I may never walk by a full length mirror again.
No word yet on whether Johnny will be growing and braiding a beard.
