Real Housewife Stud Slade Smiley Owes Money For Sick Son
First I should confess, I’m a total sucker for the Real Housewives franchises – Atlanta, New York, and the Original Orange County…I love/hate them all. But sometimes it’s hard to remember that these reality TV stars are actually real people with some very real issues…like being a total douchebag.
Slade Smiley – who’s name I just can not get over – is being touted in the ads for the upcoming new season of Real Housewives of the O.C. as holding the title of the man who “bagged three housewives.” Apparently he’s too busy seducing the ladies, going to parties and hamming it up for the cameras to take car of his sick son.
TMZ is reporting that Slade owes $77,356.75 in late child supports payments in addition to a 10% interest penalty for paying late. And one of his kids really needs the money, he is fighting an inoperable brain tumor. Slade filed papers with the L.A. County Superior Court a couple weeks ago asking that the child support bill be lowered since he’s currently unemployed and doesn’t make any money at all. And Slade’s representative has stated that he has”jumped through burning hoops to take care of [his child's] well-being and health.” Slade’s ex said that ain’t true and that Slade has only seen his nine-year-old son twice in the last year and a half and hasn’t even sent his child even a birthday card yet. Yup – douchebag alert.
Hey if you have zero money, how can you afford a ‘representative’? And doesn’t he get paid for appearing on the show?
