Let me just say this:  If Mariah Carey really is pregnant, her baby bump is going to going to have a wicked buzz after all the scotch she’s been sipping on. I hate to break it to you.

When Larry asked the million dollar question, “are you with child?” Mariah Carey responded coyly saying:

“Right now? I’m gonna have a swig of my scotch and I’ll let you know… It would be the happiest thing in my life. But what I’m saying is that right now, with this movie coming out, and with the newest 3 singles from the album and those things that I’m doing.

I need to focus on them because I cannot do the having a child thing halfway. I wouldn’t just be like ‘Oh I’m having a child, yay! Let me get a nanny.’ so I could giver her the baby… That doesn’t work for me.”

So, there you have it. Mariah isn’t preggers, as previously thought. I think we can trust the notion that Mariah wouldn’t be swigging scotch if she were.

There is still hope, however. It does sound like Mariah still plans to have a baby sometime in the future — when she’s ready to dial back her career. Considering that MC will turn 40 in March, it’s bound to be sooner than later.
