Teri Hatcher Has The Swine Flu!
Word has it that Desperate Housewife, triathlete, and celebrity mom Teri Hatcher has come down with a case of the dreaded pig flu! Teri reportedly let the producers of Desperate Housewives know that she had been diagnosed with H1N1 virus this morning and the news is quickly making the rounds.
Ironically, Teri’s diagnosis and the ensuing “swine flu” red alert comes at the worst possible time for the production. The cast will have to wait for Teri to recover before shooting the rumored, top-secret plane crash scene where a few of the show’s primary characters will be killed off.
Were the producers considering killing off Teri’s character? I doubt it. Let’s hope they don’t have to.
So far, the vast majority of people diagnosed with the flu have recovered fairly quickly, so I don’t think anyone is too concerned about a woman as healthy as Teri. Still, it must be really freaky for 12-year-old Emerson to find out that mom’s got swine flu!
