Amy Poehler Talks About Archie’s First Birthday
Archie Arnett, son of Amy Poehler and funnyman Will Arnett, celebrated the big 1 on Sunday. Is this kid absolutely packed to the gills with comedic DNA or what? On the anniversary of the birth of her first child — who I believe might turn out to be the funniest person alive — Amy sat down to talk about how her life has changed.
According to Amy, the first year has been amazing, and amazingly fast. From Amy’s interview in People:
“Children are amazing for so many reasons and one of them is that they kind of punctuate your life,” Amy says of the milestone. “Often our lives go by so fast without enjoying the moment and being able to reflect. When you have a person living in your house that is growing next to you it’s just amazing to watch and reflect the passage of time.”
So, let’s all take a moment to reflect on Amy and Will’s decision to name their son Archibald William Emerson Arnett. Sheesh, what a mouthful! With a name like “Archibald,” let’s hope the kid has a good sense of humor.
