Charlotte Church’s Daughter Scares Her To Death

Charlotte Church has had some really scary experiences as a mom.  Her daughter Ruby suffers from Breath Holding Spells. I had never heard of anything like that, but anytime your kid does this has to be scary.

She explained, “Ruby does this thing when she holds her breath, especially when she is having a tantrum and wants her own way. She will hold her breath until she passes out - the first time it happened it was absolutely horrendous. We’ve been taught to bring her round by spraying her face with water or blowing on her face. Every time it’s happened she’s been fine afterwards but it causes Gavin and I a lot of worry.”

Wow, that’s taking the I’m going to hold my breath until you give in to a new level. I understand it’s a real diagnosed condition, but how scary.

My son suffered from febrile seizures and that was pretty darn scary.

I’m relieved that Charlottes’s daughter can be brought around so quickly and simply.
