Unstapled: Carnie Wilson To Lose Baby Weight On Reality Show

carnie wilson lola 199x300 Unstapled: Carnie Wilson To Lose Baby Weight On Reality ShowThree months after giving birth to her second daughter Lucy, Carnie Wilson is apparently still carrying around 60 pounds that she gained during pregnancy. On her new reality show Carnie Wilson: Unstapled, the singer and game show host is going to try to drop it (without another round of gastric bypass surgery).

The new reality series, airing on GSN, will feature the former Wilson Phillips star going about her daily life as a working mother. Says Carnie:

“I’ve written two autobiographies and posed for Playboy. I think I’ve pretty much been out there… This is definitely the most exposed I’ve ever been.”

Right off the bat, I have a problem with the show’s title. Carnie quite famously had her gastric bypass surgery broadcast over the internet in 1999. So, unless she’s actually getting the staples removed, the show’s title is false advertising, IMO.

Not to mention, it seems like Carnie is pulling a K-Fed by keeping on a bunch of extra weight with the intention of  dropping it on a reality show. It’s been 3 months and I’m pretty sure the host of The Newlywed Game could have at least started losing the “baby weight” by now. She’s sandbagging.

Will her spaced-out dad (Beach Boy Brian Wilson) be featured on the show? Maybe, the network says. If so, it might be worth tuning in.
