Jon Gosselin Will Continue His Career As A Beloved TV Icon Without Kate
Even though he got dropped from Jon & Kate Plus 8, fear not — Jon told reporters today that he plans to “continue on television.” You know, because he’s so good at it and all. He also shared his perspective of the whole joint bank account debacle, which resulted in him being found in contempt of court.
According to Jon’s side of the story:
“It was just after arbitration, we weren’t supposed to take money out of the restrictive account and we both did,” he said. “I was found in contempt for doing so, I didn’t realize, I was just like taking my paycheck out.”
Hmmm. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not saying Jon is a criminal mastermind here, but I really don’t think he (or at least his attorney) is quite that dumb. According to reports this week, Kate also took out about $60K, which she claims was for the 8. Did Team Jon purposefully break the arbitrator’s ruling to draw attention to Kate’s hefty withdrawl?
“By Friday, we’ll know her complete accounting, which might reduce my accounting, so I don’t know what’s going on.”
Maybe Team Jon knows that it doesn’t really matter what Jon does, people already hate him. They just want to make sure Kate gets a black eye as well.
Maybe, instead of trying to rehabilitate his image before the divorce proceedings, the goal is to try to make Kate look just as bad? Though it’s not making headlines yet, maybe Kate is going to be found in contempt for taking out that $60,000.
Do you really believe that she really spent it all on the children?
