Katherine Jackson: Reality Show? Not In My Lifetime!
Earlier today, the rumor mill was abuzz with the news that Michael Jackson’s heavily sheltered kids would be appearing on A&E‘s upcoming reality show The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty. Now that the dust has settled, Katherine Jackson (the children’s legal guardian) is setting the record straight.
According to MJ’s mom, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7, are not going to appear alongside their money-grubbing uncles — at least not in her lifetime.
Keep in mind, these are the kids that were made to wear masks in public by MJ to protect them from the media. Says MJ’s level-headed older sister Rebbie:
“Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show.”
The reality series featuring Randy, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon was initially supposed to be about the reunion of the Jackson 5, but Michael died in the pilot stages.
Thank God that Katherine has full guardianship. If not, there’s no doubt that Joe would be pushing the kids into the reality tv spotlight. Obviously, MJ’s kids would draw a way bigger audience than the washed up members of the Jackson 5 — as great as the once were.
