New Michael Jackson Song: This Is It

michael jackson new song this is it New Michael Jackson Song: This Is It This is it! A new song by Michael Jackson was released on the singer’s website, MichaelJackson.com, early Monday morning. Listen to the song after the jump.

The single, “This Is It,” will be followed by a two-disc album with the same title on October 26. The album will feature music that inspired the film “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” which is scheduled to be released on October 28.

I can’t help but think this is a bittersweet moment for Jackson’s kids Paris, Prince and Blanket. To hear their late father’s voice on the song must be exciting, but to know that it was part of some of the last recordings he made must be heartbreaking. For me, it just makes me wonder how much more he could have accomplished if he hadn’t died so soon.

My heart greives for his children. I lost my adopted dad a few yrs ago and it was heartbreaking for my entire family. Till this day, whenever there are things that trigger his memory, we still cry. Been about five years. A lot of us have healed and have moved past it but there are still moments. God has been good to us and has helped us move on and start over. I can only imagine what it must be like for them to want to hug their daddy and not be able to do so. To hear his voice and not be able to do so. A lot of us have horrible fathers here on this earth and these kids had such a loving daddy. That must be so hard. That empty feeling of wanting to have the love of their father. I can only pray Jesus comforts them and He can be that loving father figure to them! Poor kids, my heart and love go out to them.
