Robbie Williams, who has been dating actress Ayda Field since 2007, says children are on the way for the couple!

The English singer/songwriter admits he was a womanizer and his girlfriend helped tame his wild ways.  He revealed, “I was always thinking, ‘How am I going to keep the old chap in the pants?’  But Ayda and me are very loved up – kids on the way  and all that business.”

He added, “Ayda wants to get married.  I believe that I want to make her happy. I’ve kind of been putting back the children thing, but that will happen in the next couple of years.”

Williams recently moved back to the UK after spending time in Los Angeles.  His house-hunt made him want to become a dad.

The 35-year-old performer said, “We went to Wiltshire and Ayda and I were looking at places to rent there.  Then we saw this house and it was gorgeous.  And we walked in and the though of having kids just hit us.

“We can see the kids running around the halls and all that business. We did a proper impulse buy.”

Robbie’s new album Reality Killed the Video Star is now out and he’s busy promoting.  He and Ayda plan to return to the US at some point and will most likely raise their kids there.

He said, “I am English through and through, but I can put up with American accents with our kids when they come. It’ll be something I get my head round.”
