nia long and son 204x300 Nia Long Co Sleeps with Her 9 Year Old SonCo-sleeping isn’t for everyone. And most try to kick their kid out of their bed by the time they’re toddlers. But others not only relent to sharing their bed but relish in that nocturnal family bonding time. Actress Nia Long loves to co-sleep with her 9-year-old son Masaai.  In a recent interview with MediaTakeOut.com she talked about sharing her bed with her son:

Interviewer: We have a segment in our show called Being There. And it’s about the quality time that you spend with your child. I know you spend a lot of quality time with [Massai]. What would you say would be the one thing that represents that for you?

Nia: Well my son still sleeps in bed with me.

Interviewer: [Laughs] That’s quality time.

Nia: He does and I love it. Every now and then I get a foot in my neck or an elbow in my back. But you know when the whole day goes by and he’s busy being a boy and I can’t kiss him goodbye on the first day of school – cause [his girlfriend] Ella’s watching.
That’s my time. And we snuggle . . . and it’s the best.
