Jon & Kate Gosselin: Custody Battle Erupting?
Jon and Kate Gosselin currently split their time equally with their eight children. However, due to recent events, namely Jon’s behavior, Kate wants to amend their 50/50 custody arrangement.
ET spoke with Jon in New York City and he admitted that Kate wants to change their joint-custody arrangement.
Jon is saying it’s like “an all-out battle,” between him and Kate because she’s preventing him from seeing Mady and Cara on their birthday – well, allowing him to spend only 2 hours with the girls. Kate has requested he be at the festivities at their Pennsylvania home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“She’s trying to prevent me from seeing my kids on Mady and Cara’s birthday. That’s like giving her full custody by obeying her.”
Jon read an email from Kate, “Due to recent events, it will be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here as planned. I would like to split the evening so they can see us both.”
He added, “It’s an all-out battle. She can’t tell me what to do.”
OK, why is he reading private emails from Kate on TV? Why? How does this help their situation at all? How is this beneficial to their children?
Ugh. This man doesn’t get it. He just doesn’t get it.
