Kate’s Cookbook Is A No Go?

kate gosselin book 202x300 Kates Cookbook Is A No Go?Just when Kate needs some positive cash flow the most, word has it that her latest book deal is going awry. According to the rumor mill, Kate’s cookbook, “Love is in the Mix: Turning Meals into Memories, has been taken off of Zondervan’s web site. Has Kate’s book deal gone kaput?

Honestly, it seems like anything with Kate’s name on it would be a hot commodity these days… even a cookbook that she has probably never read, much less wrote.

However, the Christian book pushers at Zondervan — the publisher that released her last 2 books “Multiple Bles8ings” and “Eight Little Faces” —   seems to be worried about a divorce backlash.

Seriously though, who wants to learn about making meals into memories from Katezilla? We’ve seen her and her parenting skills in action and the results are… well, just this side of catastrophic.

It looks like the Gosselins’ latest biggest enemies these days are the media moguls that gave them their 15 minutes in the first place. First, TLC tries to appear to take the moral high ground by ditching Jon. Now, Zondervan is flip flopping on Kate’s cookbook.

What’s next, a Kate Gosselin vs. Nancy Grace showdown? Would she do better or worse than Jon?

as a mom to another larger family (seven kids) – i’d like to see her cookbook – she seems like a real perfectionist and that’s not a bad thing when it comes to figuring out how to streamline meals/cooking/kitchen organization! I’ve had a baby every other year for fourteen years and man, i could use help! LOL! Every little bit helps… Making toast in the oven instead of the toaster, roasting veggies with the roast (thanks, jamie Oliver!) – etc etc… anyway, i hope it’s not pulled…

CommentsI agree- meal planning and cooking for her family is one thing I think Kate does very well. I would like to see her healthy recipes for a large group.

I also hope Kate is allowed to publish her cookbook. She has a lot of insight and organizational skills needed to run her large family. A lot of people would love to buy her cookbook and I am one of them.

I’d rather have a cookbook from the organic chef that prepares their meals for the week. The meals she reheats!
