woody harrelson deni 300x298 Woody Wants To Convert Vampire Loving Daughters To ZombiesAs you might imagine, Woody Harrelson describes himself as a kind of free-form parent, letting his daughters “do their thing” and resisting the urge to give advice. In fact, he says the he’s usually the one consulting his daughters when making decisions. His most passionate parenting mission right now: to convince his daughters the zombies are every bit as cool as vampires.

Says Woody:

“They’re into Twilight, so this is a real opportunity for me, as a parent, to try to get them more into zombies and away from vampires.

But seriously, it’s hard to be objective but I think I am a pretty good daddy. That’s what I am told anyway. I am very understanding with my kids. There’s nothing they could do that I haven’t done.

I like to see them do their thing and I don’t like to tell them do this and do that, give advice. I am not the one to give advice. They advise me. In fact they teach me. I try to be just a good friend to my kids.”

Being a horror movie buff, I’m pretty pumped about Woody’s new horror-comedy Zombieland, which opens at theaters in the US tomorrow. For a dude who’s so into peace and oneness, he has no problem taking roles in some pretty awesomely violent and gory flicks. I love it.

Woody has three daughters; Deni, 16, Zoe, 13, and Makani, 3.
