Jon Gosselin Not Fired, Can Still Support His Kids! (Sort of)
Jon Gosselin was reportedly fired from his TLC reality TV show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. True, the network decided to drop the “Jon” from the title, but the father of eight will still appear on the show.
From Usmagazine.com:
Despite weeks of speculation that the network wanted to boot the father of eight, 32, from the series because of his club-hopping reputation, his rep told Usmagazine.com that he was not kicked off.
“He was not fired,” Mike Heller told Us on Tuesday.
The network also maintains he will continue to appear on the show, only less often. The newly renamed Kate Plus Eight — which will take effect beginning Nov. 2 — will continue to focus on the lives of the young Gosselin twins, 8, and 5-year-old sextuplets but with a deeper focus on Kate’s role as a single mother.
What will Jon do with all that extra time?
A source told Us Gosselin is “still working out the details” for his next projects. In the meantime, he has been shopping around his own reality show called The Divorced Dads Club, costarring Michael Lohan, among others.
OK, so Jon is still getting a pay check, good. But dude, do not do the divorced dad thing… now that is something his kids do not need to see!
