The View’s Sherri Shepherd has a little flirt on her hands!  Her four-year-old son Jeffrey is a real ladies’ man.  Well, he’s more into other four-year-olds but you get my drift.  Jeffrey really likes Grace, Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s daughter.

Sherri said, “First thing he says to Grace is, ‘Give me a kiss.’  That’s how he is with all the little girls: ‘Give me a kiss!’  If you don’t kiss him, he’s gonna friggin’ hit you.  Every little 4-year-old girl, he loves ‘em.”

Sherr has a new book, Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide to Giving Herself a Break and she talks about her life as a single mom.  Her book title was inspired by her flub on air about not knowing if the earth was round or flat.

The 42-year-old comedian said, “I was beating myself up until I got hundreds of emails from women going, ‘You know what Sherri? I don’t care if the earth is round or flat, I’m just trying to take care of my kid.’  And that’s when I realized, we just have to give ourselves permission to say dumb things, we have to give ourselves permission to feel okay and not beat ourselves up ’cause we’re trying so hard to be the perfect mother, perfect sister, wife.”

She’s right.  We need to cut ourselves some slack every now and again!
