Katie Holmes Is Launching A Suri-Inspired Fashion Line

suri cruise heels Katie Holmes Is Launching A Suri Inspired Fashion LineLast week, we saw a Suri Cruise dressed to the nines, complete with high heels and a shell purse. Apparently, we’re not the only one who noticed. In fact, instead of teaching her daughter how to dress, Katie Holmes is taking lessons from the 3-year-old and using them to design her own fashion collection with Jeanne Yang.

Says Katie:

“It has been my dream forever to be in fashion and I’m truly inspired by my daughter Suri.”

“She just loves dressing up so I decided to launch this exciting venture with Jeanne.”

Here’s my question, if Katie has to take notes from her toddler, what makes her qualified to have her own fashion line. I’m no fashion critic here, but I don’t see Katie as much of a fashionista. Just saying. Seems like maybe they should have given the job to Suri.

Do you think someone should step in an keep Suri from wearing those heels during her developmental years? Or should they let her express her inner fashionista?

Nothing wrong with her pretty outfits, but personally I would let my daughter wear ‘adult-like’ fashion when she’s @ her early childhood stage. I think little kids should be comfortable with their clothing and if need be fashionable, perhaps focusing more on colors and accent frills. I know parents are often excited to see their little princesses grow to be like them, but c’mon, they’ll get to that in no time at all won’t they? Therefore, im not quite impressed with fashionista kids like Suri, if she was anything as her mom’s fashion adviser, Katie brought it upon Suri to grow way too fast ….

aren’t high heels detrimental to a child’s growth? I mean legs and muscles are developing, wouldn’t that NOT be good for a child??????
and wouldn’t it be nice if all that money spent on clothing and shoes for one child go to some charity? puuuhhh leeeeeease. that is gonna be one primadonna girl and it will only get worse from here.
