Hello, Desperation: Jon Gosselin Wants to Reconcile With Kate
How’s this for timing? On the same day that TLC announced that they were changing the name of Jon & Kate Plus 8 to Kate Plus 8, Jon Gosselin breaks the news that he may not want that divorce from Kate after all. Wow, what a coincidence! Did Jon have a change of heart, or did he suddenly realize he was going to have to start paying for those cigarettes and Ed Hardy shirts out of his own pocket?
In a press release issued Tuesday Jon says, “I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated. I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon.” He also says in an interview that he would like to suspend his divorce from Kate for 90 days to restore their relationship and communication.
RadarOnline is reporting that there’s one snag in Jon’s plan – he never bothered to tell Kate about it. According to a source Jon reportedly sent a letter through an arbitrator who was supposed to deliver it to Kate but somehow it never arrived. “Kate learned about Jon wanting to slow down the divorce the same way everyone did, by reading about it,” says another source. “She was shocked and surprised.”
Can Jon sound any more desperate? I’m sure he’s stung by the fact that Kate and the show are going to go on without him, and he sees his eight children moving further and further away from him. I’m guessing he probably wasn’t thinking about that when he was sipping champagne with Hailey on that yacht in St. Tropez.

They deserve each other. But I would make him undergo screening for her STDs before even CONSIDERING taking him back after all the skanks he took up with.
