Brad Pitt is reportedly worried about his partner and baby mama, Angelina Jolie.  He thinks she’s too thin and wants her to slow down and take care of herself.

Jolie, who is a U.N. ambassador, takes her role very seriously and friends are concerned that she’s compromising her health.  The 34-year-old actress struggled with eating issues when she was younger and pals are worried she’s headed down the same path once again.

A source said, “Brad has been trying to talk to Angelina about her weight and she’s telling him to back off.  She doesn’t think  she is that skinny, but everyone around her says she’s become skin and bones.

“You can see the veins in her arms and her collarbone.  She just doesn’t eat.  She only takes bites of the kids’ food and that’s it,” adds the insider.

Angie’s brother, James Haven, admits she has eating issues.  “She sees food differently and she feels guilty about what she has compared with so many starving people who she wants to help.”

Jolie has visited Iraq, Kenya and Ethopia recently, and feels she connects better with the people if she’s thin. The source continues, “She tells Brad that she can relate more to the refugees looking the way she does now.  She feels more of a connection to the people she’s trying to help but Brad told her the purpose of her volunteer work is to help those who are suffering, not look like them!”

Angelina reportedly did a detox diet before filming Salt.  “She lost some weight just from being busy and running around a lot.  She finished filming Salt, where she was busy working long hours every day and exercising to stay fit for the role and now between the kids and her volunteer work for the U.N. refugee agency, she barely has a minute to eat,” dished an insider.

“Brad was just trying to tell Angelina that she’s looking too thin without hurting her feelings, but she retaliated and told him the last thing she needed was him judging her,” said another source.  “He’s been trying to get her to eat, but she won’t listen.”

Brad is worried Angie will get sick while they are traveling with their kids.  “He’s not worried about her appearance but rather her wellbeing and the health of their kids.”

Yes, Angelina, eat!  Your children will see that their mother doesn’t eat properly and it could affect how they view food.
