Johnny Depp Saved Courtney Love’s Life With CPR
Johnny Depp’s not just a responsible father, he’s also a good friend to have around after you’ve passed out after ingesting a cocktail of recreational and prescription drugs. Courtney Love knows firsthand that Johnny is a master of mouth-to-mouth. She revealed as much in an interview with Style Magazine.
“Nobody has ever loaned me money. I mean, I was going to die on a few occasions. Johnny Depp gave me CPR on one. That’s as close as I ever got. I was watching that movie where he plays Dillinger, and I was like ‘Mother f***er, I never had myself any JD except CPR.’ “
Yep, that’s right folks. Thanks to Johnny Depp, Kurt Cobain’s ex-wife lived to party another day. I wonder when this incident actually happened?
It had to have happened a while back, because it doesn’t seem like the Johnny Depp of today would want to hang out with the Courtney Love of today… not at all.
If you compare the two as parents, it’s like night and day. Johnny has become a super involved family man over the years, while Courtney is still telling reporters her stories about almost drinking herself to death. Not such a great role model for her 17-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.
I wonder if Johnny took a CPR class when he became a father, or before? It seems like a really good idea to learn some basic first-aid techniques when you have a child, but few of us ever get around to it.
