Destiny’s Child star and solo artist Michelle Williams says she wants children but when she does become a mom, she will not have a nanny and she wants her kids to fear her.

Williams said, “Every now and then I think they are cute and I adore my three God children, but it’s a lot.  I understand the whole nanny thing, but I want my children to fear me and know the power of my discipline, not some nanny, so I’ll need a little more time before I start a family.”

Do you agree with her statement about wanting her (future) kids fearing her?  Do your kids fear you?  Or do you have a different style of discipline?

You have to understand what she means with fear. I feared my mother. I would never do anything to disappoint her, at least from the time I was 10 years old. But is a fear of love. Like the fear one should have for God. You want your parents to trust you and to believe in you. If a nanny is raising your children, it is that nanny who is getting all the love you should be getting. It is the nanny who the children have a mother-child relationship with. The nannys habits, morals and persona will trasnfer to your children
