Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley Divided On The Family Issue?
Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have been together for nearly seven years, and married for three, but now they have decided to split. What broke them up? According to one source they were divided on the issue of family.
However, other friends say that Avril wants to explore a life without Deryck and that she feels like she married too young. They claim the issue of babies didn’t play a part in their split.
“She married too young and she finally realized that. Avril realized she needs her own life and needs to explore things without him,” said a source.
“The split is not about Deryck wanting a kid nor is she dating anyone else. There is no romance.”
The breakup was amicable and they plan to remain friends. “Deryck and I have been together for 6-and-a-half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21,” wrote Lavigne, on her website, confirming the breakup. “I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.”
She added, “I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most important person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck andn I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”
So sad. They seemed so good together. Maybe they’ll one day get back together and babies WILL be in their future?
