Jennifer Hudson, who became a first-time mom a month ago to son Daniel David Otunga, admits she hates leaving her baby boy.  She did, however, tear herself away from him to perform at “VH1 Divas” last Thursday night.

Although she had to leave her baby, she said he was always on her mind.  Hudson said, “It’s always hard.  I have got to get adjusted to it because, it’s like, I don’t want to ever leave  him.

“He’s so precious.”

Oh yes, I remember leaving my third son for the first time at just 3-weeks-old to go to a concert and it was really hard even though he wasn’t my first baby!

How old was your baby when you left him (her) for the first time?
