Michelle Williams Shares Her Grief With The World
We often look at Michelle Williams and wonder how she’s doing since the death of Heath Ledger. I know that she faced a loss that many of us think of as unimaginable.
She recently opened up and shared her experience with grief, past and present.
She said, “After the first year, the pain is less intense – it’s less immediate. But the magical thinking goes away too. And that’s a whole new reckoning. But every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her.”
“I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea. It just makes things more complicated.”
“I feel hopeful and grateful. For a while I thought we had lost everything. It makes you want to love better and live better.”
Maybe you know someone close to you that has lost a loved one. Perhaps this little bit of “inside knowledge” can help you help them.
