david beckham and sons David Beckham Is The Best Celebrity Role Model, Parents SayI’ve always thought of David Beckham as a positive role model, but he’s no Mister Rogers or anything. Well, according to a survey of parents in the UK, Becks is, hands down, the best celebrity role model for their children.

That’s right, 55% of parents said he was a “good” or “very good” role model, while only 18% said that he’s a negative example for kids.

Now, I don’t really see how you could call David a “bad influence” on children — unless you count pumping unrealistic dreams of making billions in pro soccer into their brains… and that fight with Galaxy fans.

David and Victoria are no doubt good parents and work hard at it… and under the tutelage of Tom Cruise, they’ll probably be super parents like him some day. I’m kidding.

Still, I’m not really sure I’m willing to say that their the best role models out there, but they’re definitely toward the top of the heap.
