Jon & Kate Gosselin: He Said, She Said

Kate Gosselin gave an interview to Larry King, which wasn’t bad – she at least didn’t bash her soon-to-be ex-husband Jon, but he didn’t show her the same respect in his recent interview.  Both have more to say, again.  Here’s a thought:  Perhaps both of them could stop giving interviews for the sake of their children?

In more from his interview with  ABC News’ Chris Cuomo, Jon keeps spewing obvious hate dislike for Kate.  Via RadarOnline:

Jon said, “I didn’t leave Kate for Hailey. People think I left Kate for Hailey … because of the time-frame and what they printed in the tabloids.

“You can’t control who you love. I strongly believe that. You cannot control that. It’s two people joined together.”

He goes on to call Hailey his soul mate.

“I get encouragement from her, I get respect from her.  Two things that a man needs. This is someone, I mean, like soul mate – like people joke about that. But I’m not joking about that.”

Jon is clearly on a mission to polish his tarnished public image and he denies having romances with Deanna Humel and former Star reporter Kate Major.

“I have so much to lose … in this situation,” Gosselin told ABC. “I could lose custody, I could lose my kids, I could lose — but I feel like with [Glassman] that I’m not going to lose them. It’s just going to get better.” <— better with hard-partying Hailey?  Yes, great influence for your kids Jon, super.

Jon is aware that stories are written about him because he’s a fame whore.

“It’s just like the change from America’s favorite dad to dirt-bag. Tomorrow I could be maybe … America’s favorite dad again,” he says.  “It could be after this interview. I don’t know. Whatever they want to write, let them write it. They’re going to write it anyway. I’ve learned that lesson.”

Nice Jon, basically say the women you were married to for 10 years, and have eight kids with, is/was not as good as your new 22-year-old girlfriend, who you have not known for that long of a time.  I’m sure your children will appreciate this.

Kate has fired back at Jon’s recent comments about the “abuse” that he suffered from her.

A friend of Kate’s said, “Jon often chats up the photographers, and exhanges phone numbers with them.  He calls them to tip them about Kate’s every move, and even tells them specific to yell at Kate to taunt her.”

The source added, “TLC actually tracked Jon’s phone calls and found out that he was the leak in security!  TLC told Kate not to tell Jon exactly where she is.”

The source said: “Kate is disgusted by Jon’s claims that he was the victim of ‘abuse’ by her. She thinks that he should man up – and shut up.’”

I agree.  Both should stop, although Kate has been way more diplomatic.  Jon?  Totally douchey.  Not so much.

[...] Jon Gosselin’s latest interview with ABC’s Chris Cuomo was supposed to show him in a better light to the public.  However, it didn’t turn out quite that way and the worst part about it?  His actions are only going to hurt his eight children. [...]

Diplomatic? Not so much. She’s just better at manipulating the media and making people feel sorry for her. They both need to shut up, but unfortunately for the kids, ,that won’t happen.
