LeVar Burton’s Rainbow Ends
There’s no gold at the end of this rainbow. LeVar Burton’s classic PBS series Reading Rainbow is going off the air.
The show, which garnered over two-dozen Emmys over its 26 years, was not able to continue due to the proverbial well running dry.
Really? There’s a lot of crap on PBS. Take the funding from that stuff and put it in a book.
As for Burton, between Reading Rainbow, Star Trek the Next Generation and Roots, he has a pretty good streak going. He’ll be okay. And missed.
