DJ AM’s Death Not a Suicide
TMZ is reporting an exclusive, that law enforcement folks have declared that DJ AM’s death was NOT a suicide, but an accidental drug overdose.
After last year’s near-death experience with the plane crash, Adam Goldstein got addicted to Xanax and anti-anxiety meds. Yeah, who knew he’d feel anxiety about flying after that crap?
As a recovering addict, DJ AM getting on Xanax and other pharmaceuticals was a bad proposition, at best. His relapse was “recent,” according to TMZ’s sources. And Goldstein’s coroner report is more than likely going to show that he died from a combination of benzodiazepines (the anti-anxiety meds) and crack cocaine.
Goldstein was good friends with celeb parent, rocker, and fellow plane-crash survivor Travis Barker.
Guess we’ll know more soon. For now, I find it ironic that the new “Final Destination” movie is out within days of DJ AM’s death. I mean, when Death wants you, I guess it gets you.
