Kate and Jon Gosselin’s divorce is not yet final and although Kate was considering a 50/50 custody arrangement, she’s reconsidered due to recent events.

According to sources, Kate will use Jon & Kate Plus 8 footage to show the courts she deserves full custody of the couple’s eight children.

The kids called Kate while they were having their time with their dad at the Reading, Pa. home to say that their new babysitter, Stephanie Santoro, was there.  Kate does not approve of her – she’s the babysitter that Jon allegedly slept with during one of his visits to his kids’ home.

An insider said, “She [Kate] doesn’t feel comfortable allowing Jon to have custody when she can’t trust him to keep them safe.

“When Jon starts acting like an adult, she’ll reconsider.”

The source added that the oldest kids, twins Mady and Cara, who turn 9 in October, may be old enough to choose which parent they would prefer to live with.

I can totally see Kate’s point – she obviously doesn’t want to keep Jon from their kids, but with his immature behavior lately, I’d not want to share custody either!
