Gosselin Divorce: The Fight Over Money Begins
Jon and Kate Gosselin have had cops called to their Reading, Pa. family home a couple of times because they were arguing and it doesn’t look like things will improve any time soon. The battle for money is under way in their split.
The former couple, and parents of eight, are accusing the other of hiding money. According to sources, Jon believes Kate is hiding assets and Kate is upset that Jon is spending money wildly, particularly on his new girlfriend when he should be spending it on their kids.

Jon has taken girlfriend Hailey Glassman to France, spent a week in The Hamptons with Kate Major, bought a BMW, traded it back in, shopped for a Porsche for Hailey, rented an expensive apartment in New York and indulged in other cash-burning activities.
While Kate has been allowed by her network to make various TV appearances explaining her actions and correcting inaccurate stories about her, Jon had to cancel a cable interview at the last minute. He has made money by granting an exclusive interview to a magazine.
Jon is now hinting that he wants off the show. And in the meantime he will host a pool party in Los Angeles and has been very open about his desire to engage in other money-making projects, despite the restrictions of his TLC contract. He has been in talks with the Ed Hardy company, whose logo has been blurred every time Jon wears one on the TV show.
The big problem, according to Kate sources, is the soon to be ex wife thinks the cash is all going to fuel Jon’s Suddenly Single lifestyle and not being put away for the kids.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 is not the couple’s only source of income. They have books and speaking engagements but with divorce suddenly looming, that may not be as lucrative in the future.
These two really, really need to get their acts together for the sake of their children. Fighting and accusing the other of this and that is only going to upset the kids. Grow up!

milipan commented on Aug 26 09 at 11:08 amThis has the potential to get so ugly. I hope that the courts lean towards Kate instead of Jon. Morals aside, she is good at making money, but all Jon seems to be good for is blowing it.
mommiedear commented on Aug 26 09 at 8:45 pmDivorce brings out the worst in people. Obviously hate and betrayal overshadows the things they loved about each other in the first place. It is disgraceful how niether is thinking of the childrn in all of this. There has to be someone appointed for the well being of these kids. Without the kids there would be no money anyway…no show no Jon and kate so why is there confusion in the priority?? And HaleyGlassman seriously what is this woman thinking Jon has more baggage than just a little bit.! Love doesnt conquer all princess get a clue already! Noone builds a happy relationship on lies and betrayal he was flippant with hsi wife and moter of hsi 8 kids he has no sense of loyalites. Hope both of them take a bite of the humble pie and stop exposing those kids to any more of this drama especially the twins who are old enough to understand what is happening. http://www.truuconfessions.com has a clear consenus on whose side everyone is.
