barack obama family photo 300x217 Obama To Paparazzi: Leave My Daughters AloneThe latest celebrity parents to get agitated at the media’s constant hounding is none other than the President and First Lady!

As the First Family vacations in Martha’s Vineyard this week, President Obama has made it clear that he won’t tolerate any nosy photographers following his daughters around like they’re Paris Hilton or something. No way, not his girls.

Says the White House’s press secretary Bill Burton:

“The first family would very much appreciate if you respect the privacy of the girls while they’re out here on vacation… I asked him if he had a message for the press corps, and that’s what it is.”

That means, reporters and photogs in the press pool are not allowed to swarm Sasha and Malia when they go get ice cream or anything like that. If they do, then they get booted from the pool.

It’s a pretty reasonable request, but apparently the President is one of the only people on the planet with the power to make it stick.

[...] I bet this whole vacationing thing is starting to be a real chore of the President, with the “press pool” hounding him and all. [...]
