Where Did Jenna Elfman Go?
I loved Jenna Elfman on “Dharma and Greg”, she was cute and bubbly and I thought that she was the same way in real life. However, I now know she was just “acting.” I’ve always like her though and I did wonder where she’s been the last couple of years. She’s been raising Story.
In a recent interview for Parade Magazine she let us in for a little glimpse of her life.
On choosing her son, Story’s unique name: “We had the name before we had the baby. My husband just turned to me one night and said, ‘Story Elias Elfman,’ and I said, ‘Done—there’s nothing better than a great story.’”
On having more children: “We’re taking our time, but we’re definitely going to have another kid for sure.”
On their household: “It’s not like my husband and I are shy, quiet types. And Story is fearless—he’ll do flips over my body like I’m a human jungle gym. There’s always a lot of laughter, music playing, lots of screaming and drumming and chasing each other around the house. We have a very happy, adventurous household. It’s awesome, and I’m proud of it. It’s alive in here.”
On how she wants to raise Story: “I was raised as a dancer, so I’ve always been very active with my body. And I’ve found that being confident with your body is a very beneficial thing to living a healthy life. That’s why I want Story to have that, too.”
On the first time she met Bodhi at an audition for a Sprite commercial: “My husband’s quite funny, and he made me laugh. At the wardrobe fitting, I was so excited to see him, and I just got this overwhelming sense of joy and comfort and familiarity. To this day, 18 years later, I have the same reaction—most of the time.”
