Score One For Octuplets, Zero For Octomom
Nadya “Octomom” Suleman was in court recently, trying to have an appeal denied for outside guardianship of the money her kids would earn through any sort of media endeavors. Yesterday (Aug 21), that request was denied!
The Department of Social Services was given the green light from the judge to conduct an investigation to ensure that the children’s estate is properly handled. Attorney Gloria Allred is thrilled.
Allred released the following statement:
“We are very happy that the court has upheld the law and allowed us to proceed with our case and our efforts to protect Nadya Suleman’s octuplets. Nadya Suleman’s attorneys attempted to dismiss our case but failed in their efforts. Although it is a victory for us, it is more importantly a victory for Nadya Suleman’s octuplets.
We are also very pleased that the court has invited the Department of Social Services to conduct an investigation and file a report and recommendation to the court. It appears to us that the court wants to be sure that the children’s interests are protected.
Our client Paul Petersen’s paramount concern is the best interests of the children. We look forward to our next date in court on this matter.”
The next hearing is scheduled for October 29th.
I think it’s great that the children’s interests will be protected.

Ginger and Lulu commented on May 25 10 at 2:16 pmThis woman, Nadya Suleman, is a freak and a fraud. She is too lazy, and incompetent, to work and earn her own living, so she is allowed to “rape” the taxpayers, over and over. What a shame!
