Awkward: Regis Philbin Tries To Counsel Kate Gosselin (VIDEO)
Kate Gosselin was on Live With Regis and Kelly this morning, and for some unknown reason a few minutes into the interview Regis Philbin completely lost his mind. Regis, who admitted to never watching Jon and Kate Plus 8, made this loopy statement to an obviously uncomfortable Kate (jump to around the 3:00 mark to see it for yourself):
“I think the separation is going to come to an end, and I think he’s going to come back, and I think he’s going to say please marry me again, and I think you’re going to live happily ever after. Now what do you think of that?”
Oh, I’d love to tell you what I think of that, Regis.
Gosselin, who is famously divorcing husband/playboy/15-year-old Jon Gosselin, responded with, “Wow – [you're] an optimist!”
