Judy Reyes Will Be Scrubbing in a Girl
Scrubs star Judy Reyes has revealed that she is pregnant with a girl. The actress, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend George Valencia in November, says she’s feeling “wonderful” and breezing through her pregnancy. “I had a little morning sickness in the first trimester but other than that I’m enjoying it,” she says. Hey Judy, I enjoyed my first pregnancy, too. Except for the vomiting. And the swollen ankles. And the mood swings.
Reyes, who was recently at maternity store A Pea in the Pod for the launch of Nicole Richie’s new maternity line, told People magazine that she knew she was having a girl all along. “My twin sister and my younger sister have boys, and they had strong hopes to have boys because we’re a family of all girls,” she said. “My nieces, who are 20 and 22, are girls. Everyone was praying for boys and I just had a feeling that it was a girl, and it is!”
But Reyes isn’t quite as sure when it comes to preparing for the baby. When asked about her nursery the actress replied, “Nothing yet … We’re going to get into that in the next month.”
