Gosselin Twins Scream At The Sight Of Dad’s Diamond Studs
On this week’s episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, viewers see Jon arriving at the Reading, Pa., Gosselin home and the twins Mady and Cara notice that daddy has new diamond studs. Jon assures fans later on, that all the changes they see are not because of a “midlife crisis.” Whew.

As Jon sits on the confession couch or whatever the heck it is that TLC calls it, he wants fans to know that he’s always been this way. You know, into earrings, flashy player clothes, cars, motorcycles, and “fast things.” Uh, fast things? Code for trashy women, is my guess. I’m smart like that.
Ed-Hardy-wearing-t’shirt-diamond-studded-ears-pierced Jon said, “It’s just the way I’ve always been expressing myself. Things are just coming out a lot more now. This is who I am and this is who I’m gonna be.” Seriously, it’s almost comical.
Jon said of his earrings, “I’ve had my ears pierced since I was, I don’t know, 15-years old. I just figured why not, just throw ‘em back in. Who cares? It’s a part of me.”
Dad-of-eight insists he’s not going through a “midlife crisis. “t’s not a midlife crisis. Everyone thinks it’s a midlife—I’m nowhere near midlife. I’m 32-years old. I’ve always liked motorcycles and cars and fast things and I have four tattoos.” Jon is so badass y’all! Mady and Cara appeared to like his earrings and that’s all that counts.

Not watching commented on Aug 12 09 at 8:56 am…for the sake of the kids. If ever a show needed to be cancelled, it’s this one. Immature dad in the throes of an early midlife crisis, controlling, tempermental famewhore mom, and those children in the middle.
