Jon Gosselin Cancels E! Interview; Kate Major Wipes Up Floor With His Ass
Jon Gosselin has abruptly cancelled his highly-publicized interview with Ryan Seacrest that was to air tonight. Gosselin was to appear with his ‘friend’ Kate Major, and the interview was thought to be a response to Kate Gosselin’s appearance on NBC’s Today show, where she slammed her ex husband.
But Major went on to do the interview, and it appears the reason Jon may have bailed is because Major was ready to do some slamming of her own.
Speaking of her ex, Major says he was lying when he described their relationship as platonic. “We had plans to travel together, to live together, and to be together,” Kate says of their relationship. “He made his decision in the Hamptons. He wanted to be with me.”
Kate claims that she decided to quit her job as a reporter for Star magazine after Jon promised to break up with girlfriend Hailey Glassman. “I was with the person I was reporting on…it was a huge conflict of interest,” she explains. “He’s the one who actually told me to quit my job…He told me he was going to Massachusetts to break up with her,” Kate says. “I know the truth. He knows the truth. Unfortunately she did not.”
And how does she feel about reports that Jon and Hailey are still an item? “He tried to two-time both of us,” Kate replies. “He wasn’t honest with Hailey he needs to man up and tell the truth. I’m not going to be the other woman.”
Kate reiterates that she and Jon were not ‘just friends’ as he claims. “I was not the only one who was around when we were romantically involved. We were holed up together. It’s not like we were just sitting there doing an interview.”
Touché! Any response from you, Jon, while you’re licking your wounds? Maybe The View would have you on to speak your mind. And hey – I think at least one of those ladies is single.
