Steven Tyler is OK!  His daughter Mia Tyler, 30, is reassuring Aerosmith fans that her father is recovering, after he fell during a concert and injured himself and will return to performing “just as soon as he can.”

Video after the jump!

Tyler, 61, took a tumble during his South Dakota concert on Wednesday (Aug 5).  See video below.

Mia issued a statement to TMZ:

“The demon of screamin (sic) is not dead. Yes, it’s true my dad walked the wrong way and landed on his head. He broke his left shoulder and had to get a few stitches on his noggin (head).

“He is now at home resting and will be back on his feet just as soon as he can to rock the world once more.”

The band’s guitarist Joe Perry recently hinted the Walk This Way hitmakers’ current tour could be cancelled to allow the frontman time to recover.

Video of Steven’s mishap:

Glad he’s OK!  Besides Mia, who is a plus-sized model, Steven is father to actress Liv Tyler, 32, Chelsea Tallarico, 20, and son Taj Monroe Tallarico, 17.

PS… He’s not dead.  Yes, he was subject to death rumors this weekend.  Sheesh.
