Nicole Richie is a Model Pea in the Pod
Socialite Nicole Richie is fresh on her fashion kick with her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry, and now, she’s entering into the maternity wear business with A Pea in the Pod. Nicole is pregnant with her second child – Harlow Winter is now 18 months old – and she’s designing AND modeling her line of mommy clothes.
“Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women,” Nicole says. “They carry great lines. When they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited.”
Famous for her hippy chick styling, Nicole says about fashion and pregnancy, “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes. I think the pregnant body is beautiful, and I think you should show it off.”
Her new line – Nicole - hits A Pea in the Pod this Friday. You’ll be spending at least $48 if you shop Nicole’s line, and that’s for a freaking tank top. I may have a pregnant belly, but I think I’ll stick to Sam’s Club.
