Murder Was The Case: Michael’s Mom Demands 3rd Autopsy
Is the hunt for Michael Jackson’s killer starting to become an exercise in active denial for Michael’s mom? Katherine Jackson has repeatedly stated that she believes that MJ’s death was not accidental, but after two autopsies she’s still not satisfied with the findings.
From the NYP:
“Katherine Jackson looked at the results of the second autopsy, and she wasn’t happy with what it did not reveal to her,” a family source said, adding that the heartbroken mom is willing to hire even a fourth or fifth pathologist until she gets her desired result.
Unfortunately, it seems the Katherine Jackson – now the sole custodian of MJ’s kids – is having trouble accepting the fact that maybe, just maybe, Michael died as the result of long-term prescription drug abuse.
I know it’s got to be hard for her to accept that, but after two independent autopsies, there’s little hope of finding anything new. Says pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht:
“There’s no more bodily fluid, no urine, no blood, no bile. The organs and tissue are in formula. There’s going to be nothing new that can be gleaned from the body.”
Regardless, the 3rd (and perhaps not the final) autopsy will be conducted by the end of this week.
Of course, there is still the ongoing investigation of Dr. Conrad Murray, which could produce charges of negligent manslaughter, but not murder.
