Kate Gosselin’s New Motto: “I Can Do”
Kate Gosselin’s marriage might be in the toilet, but that is not going to stop the reality TV mom from moving forward with her life. She plans to be there for her eight children and her new motto is “I can do.”
TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 has been on hiatus, and the show resumes on Monday, August 3. Kate Gosselin’s life has changed drastically over the past several weeks, but she’s picked herself up and dusted herself off, and is moving forward. She recently took off her wedding ring, and that was perhaps a turning point for her? There’s no going back now!
Kate, in the season opener, says, “It is my new attitude that I’m going to do things I’ve never done before.
“This is what has stemmed out of all that — ‘I can do.’”
Kate says that despite all they have been through with their parents splitting, the children are doing well. “They are still kids, they still enjoy things. They still want to do things.
“It is not their fault that what has transpired has transpired.”
Jon and Kate take turns with spending time with their eight children. Each parent spends a week with them, while the other leaves their Reading, Pa. home. They wanted to have as little disruption to their kids’ lives as possible, and making sure the children would not have to be uprooted from their family home was important to them.

no way commented on Jul 31 09 at 4:53 pmPoor martyred, put-upon Kate, with her busy career, her household help, her nannies and her chef. Oh, and her “bodyguard.” I only wish that my refusal to watch the show would help these parents to turn off the cameras they so crave and go away.
