Teri Wants Emerson To Grow Up Just LIke Her
Teri Hatcher thinks it’s important that her daughter grow up to be a little Miss Independent. She recently shred her parenting philosophy with Celebrity Baby Blog. Do you agree with her?
“I believe in the philosophy that your best job as a parent is to create a child who has the wherewithal and the strength and the confidence to do without you really. That’s what you want to bring into society, a motivated, passionate, compassionate individual. I think everything about our adventures together and our relationship over the years has always been a good balance of, ‘I’m here for you but you can do it yourself.’”
I think that’s the best thing you can do for your kids. Let them be, but encourage them that they can do it. Let them try everything they want and don’t pigeon hole them.
Good advice Teri.
