Jon Gosselin: “I Don’t Want To Introduce Anyone To My Kids”
Jon Gosselin is wanting to put his family first and despite his “heart” being with Hailey Glassman, he claims he’s single. The father-of-eight has no plans to introduce anyone to his children.
The reality TV dad said he will put his family first.
Jon told PEOPLE, “I’m just trying to concentrate on my family first, second my career. That’s what I have to do. I’m really looking forward to it – to turning my phone off, playing with my kids in the pool and being the dad.”
Jon and Kate have started shooting the remaining episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, which will air on August 3.
“Kate and I are just showing how we are going to live,” Jon said of their show, now that they are separated. “If she’s got to work, I go home. If I’ve got to work, she stays home. And that’s the way it’s always been.”
Will Jon be bringing his new flame to meet his kids?
Jon admits, “I don’t want to introduce anyone to my kids. We just have to play it by ear. I don’t know what it’s like to be divorced.”
Jon says he’s just a “country boy” but is enjoying his new found friendship in Michael Lohan – the two recently spent time hanging out in the Hamptons.
“I’m just a country boy. I’m kind of out of my element. It’s nice out here,” Gosselin says. “Everyone has families, everyone has kids and everyone wants to help. Business is business, but we should put out families first and I think we’ll all be okay.”
That’s right Jon, put your family first!
