Bat For Lashes wants to start a family. Bat For Lashes? Really?
Her real name is Natasha Khan and she’s a singer and quite famous in her own right. Just because I’ve never heard of her doesn’t mean she doesn’t have legions of fans wanting to know her every move. She’s been compared to Souxsie and the Banshees and Bjork. Not really sure those two are anything alike, but I like me some Souxsie.
Anyhow, she’s wondering if this is the time for her to give it all up and start a family.
In an interview with The Independent Newspaper she said: ‘All my friends are getting married and having children. I do wobble sometimes and wonder if I’m doing the right thing. But then my friends point out that if I was married and doing a nine-to-five job, I would probably be miserable. I’ve always wanted lots of children – but I don’t see myself getting them in the same way that other people do.’
She’s only 29 and has plenty of time to think about it and get it done. There’s no rush.
