Famecrawler
Katherine Heigl and Work/Home Balance
Katherine Heigl goes on and on about how she wants to be a mom, but then follows it up with a, I don’t know how I’d do it all.
There is no secret Katherine. It’s almost impossible to do it all. Just an FYI for you there Izzie.
Katherine says, “I would really like to be a mother. I’ve always wanted to have children. From the time I was old enough to understand the concept I wanted a baby. So we will get there but I don’t want to give up my career. And I don’t want him to. I want to be able to have it all, but what does that mean? I don’t know what it means.”
She did say, “I hope to have children and the sort of family traditions where we eat together every night. Josh will be amazing father, so I won’t have to do it alone.”
Good for her. She has no idea what she wants to do. She wants to be a mom, but doesn’t want to give up her career. Sounds to me like she’s going to be the next Jennifer Aniston.

There is no doubt she will start a family but when the time is right for her and her husband I am sure. People are always going on to her in interviews “when are you going to have a baby?”. Perhaps if more people realised how much dedication and devotion it requires they would make sure they were full prepared rather than just rushing into it. A child deserves your best and you need to make sacrifices. Katherine and Josh will I am sure work out the best time for them to make the changes they need to in their careers to start a family.
